In Japan, they follow the Chinese Horoscope as well and this year is the Year of the Cow. On 1st January the Japanese postmen (and women?) deliver MILLIONS of New Years Postcards called ねんがじょう. Then they do a regular postal delivery as well, and then they take a well-earned two-day break! New Year is the busiest time of the year for Japan Post.
If you are turning 12, or 24, or 36, or 48 or 60 or 72 or 84 or 96 or 108 (WOW!!), then this is your year! Have a great year EVERYONE!
